“From as far back as I can remember, I’ve always had this internal drive to be active and competitive every single day. I remember running around the block and timing myself using the digital clock on the microwave just to see if I could beat my previous record.

As I progressed through competitive swimming in high school and into college, it became a way of life. Finding triathlon after college was the perfect segue into a lifelong desire to stay fit and be competitive, and it showed me that it does not have to end after we leave school and in fact, it is never too late to start.

Helping people find this love of daily activity, coupled with creating goals and finding internal or external ways to be competitive, has become a true passion. I love showing that anyone is capable of this life if they really want it.”

Leslie has over eight years of coaching experience and she has been competing as a triathlete since 2008. Leslie definitely knows what it means to juggle work and training; from 2015 – 2018 she raced as a professional triathlete while also working as a chemical engineer. Leslie also became a mom in 2019, and now with two kids has perfected the juggling act of family and training as well!

Some of Leslie’s athletic accomplishments include 2nd place at Ironman France and 4th place at Ironman Wisconsin. Prior to starting her professional triathlon career, Leslie had already qualified four times for the Ironman World Championships in Kona as an age grouper.

Leslie coaches athletes of all levels, from beginners looking to complete an event for the first time to elite age groupers and professional triathletes seeking to be competitive within their ranks.

Leslie has coached athletes to the start of a range of endurance events including triathlons from sprint to ironman distance, running events up to ultramarathon, swimrun events, and swim-only events.
