Alli LaRochelle

“I love helping inspire people to be the very best version of themselves in both sport and in life. Success and growth can be found in all aspects of life by having a vision, putting in the work, being consistent, surrounding ourselves with the right people, having a good attitude, and making sure that we are challenging ourselves every single day.

Training and racing is such a privilege, and if we go into it realizing that we GET to do this, the journey towards fulfilling our goals becomes so much sweeter.”

Alli is a long time Biscay Coaching athlete who found her love for triathlon after having her youngest son in 2008.  Coming from a swimming background, Alli excelled at short course racing for several years before taking the leap into long course and never looked back.  She has since completed 13 full distance Ironman events, including the World Championships in Kona, as well as 15 Half Ironman events with multiple podiums at every distance.

In addition to coaching individuals of all levels, Alli is the Assistant Coach of the NCAA Women’s Varsity Triathlon Team at the United States Naval Academy, and also runs a successful marketing company in the automotive space. She is an active member of the community, heading up a local triathlon team with her husband Paul, as well as being the co-founder of the EllaStrong Foundation, a nonprofit named after her niece that is committed to raising money for pediatric cancer research. Alli herself is also a breast cancer survivor.

Alli lives in Annapolis, Maryland with her husband Paul, two sons, Brock (17) & Brady (15) and their two giant dogs, Murph the Great Dane and Bear the English Mastiff.

Alli coaches runners and triathletes of all levels. Our resident collegiate coach, Alli has a special aptitude for helping young adults integrate sport as they transition into the “real world.”
