Alyssa Godesky

COACH

“Ever since the finish line of my first 50 mile race in 2005, I’ve known that endurance sports would be an important part of my life. Being able to share the lessons they have taught me about dreaming big and investing in the process — and myself — to achieve those goals, has been so valuable.

Helping athletes realize that through accountability, hard work and consistency, goals they never thought possible are within reach is so rewarding.  And helping them find a way to fit their goals into everyday life.…these are the most enriching aspects of coaching, what gets me out of bed in the morning, and is the inspiration I carry into my own adventures!”

Experience

Alyssa has over 18 years experience as an endurance sports athlete, including a decade that she spent racing as a professional triathlete, and has been coaching with Biscay Coaching since 2013. Alyssa has finished 37 iron-distance races, including 2 finishes at the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii and 7 top-five finishes in the Professional field. Alyssa has completed over 50 marathons and ultramarathons and multi-day trail races, as well as several orienteering events, swim-runs, and Adventure Races ranging from 9 hours to 5 days.
