We had such a big May!
First up is a HUGE congratulations to our PRO Alex Watt who had her breakthrough race last weekend at Ironman Brazil, nabbing third place! Alex secured her first pro podium as well as her first ticket to Kona as a professional. We are excited to cheer for her this October!!
Here are a few more highlights…..
*Cindy Palinkas raced her first sub-3 hour Olympic Distance triathlon, getting 3rd in her age group!
*Brian racked up a 3rd place Age Group, 1st place Cat 5, and 3rd Overall in a racing streak he had!
*Jessie Kenny earned 5th in her Age Group at Morro Bay 70.3!
*Coach Amy continues to impress and inspire us in life and triathlon.
*Pam Cebrowski and Stephanie Granlund both had huge half marathon PRs!
*Marie Gorman ran in a torrential downpour of the Flying Pig Half Marathon in Cincinnati, OH on Sunday, May 6th, and despite the gnarly “Shelter in place” conditions, she lopped off time every mile, and finished in 1:41!!
*Cortney Haile survived the race of attrition at the Keys 100 to place 8th overall in her 3rd 100 miler!
